Meet Marisa and Keith Ealy, this week's bridal feature on our blog. This beautiful couple's fairytale boho glam wedding is what dreams are truly made of!
How did you and your husband meet?
Keith and I met in college (Cal State East Bay) through a mutual friend. He saw me in one of his friend’s classes after that class and began talking to me over Facebook thereafter.
How did he pop the question? Were you surprised?
He popped the question at Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles. He had hired a caricature artist beforehand to meet us there. I thought that the artist was always there doing drawings of people, having it been my first time there. When she turned the finished drawing around, it had my husband kneeling down with a speech bubble asking,”Will you marry me?” It was such a surprise and everyone around us clapped! He’s definitely always been romantic with the sweetest gestures I have ever known!
Where did you tie the knot?
We tied the knot at Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa,CA.
Did you have a specific theme in mind for your wedding?
The specific theme for our wedding was boho glam! I’ve always been a bohemian style lover, with some glamour and sparkle added. Our color scheme was blush, mauve, gold, rose gold, with some greenery. Our flowers included peonies, garden roses, baby’s breath, and ranunculus.
What made you choose AMY O for your special day?
I found Amy O. On Pinterest initially because I was looking for a perfect boho headpiece that would set my bridal look apart from others. Your pieces were so unique and fit our vibe perfectly. I got so many compliments on my headpiece alone!
What was one of the most memorable moments from your wedding day?
The most memorable moment of our wedding was seeing Keith when I walked down the aisle. He looked at me the way I’ve always dreamed a man to look at me. We both cried and it was so special to us that our friends and family kept telling us how evident our love was and how real it was.
Did you go on a honeymoon? If so, where to?
We went to our dream destination for our honeymoon...Paris, France! And yes, it’s just as dreamy as everyone imagines!
Any advice for future brides?
My advice to future brides is to go with your own personal style and choose things that are unique to you and your hubby. It’s truly about the love you two share, so no matter how much money you can spend, it’s about who you are marrying at the end of it all!
